The charter location for the Kiva Connection retreat is based on 120 beautiful acres of the Southern Tier in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. The property is called Moon Ivy Hill, and is just twenty minutes drive from Corning, four hours from Manhattan, and two and a half hours from Rochester. Moon Ivy Hill consists of a rolling mix of field and wooded acreage with natural springs, a stream, and five ponds. The property possesses therapeutically beautiful surroundings. This is an excellent location for the Kiva Connection, as Steuben County is home to an abundance of wildlife and flora. Black bear, albino deer, wild turkey, bobcat, coyote, beaver and red fox are among the many wild inhabitants spotted in this region. The Southern Tier of New York boasts an abundance of water, hard woods, fields, peace and plenty of fresh air!
Upon arrival to a Kiva Connection retreat location, one may walk in, bicycle, or pack in from the entrance, where all motorized vehicles are left behind.
The Kiva Connection is truly what the Native Americans so rightly named a power place.
