To maintain and make available a setting for the following:
1) The provision of simple refuge/retreat & wellness facilities
2) The protection and demonstration of respect for all species of animal and plant life living and growing on the grounds reserved for the Kiva Connection
3) The establishment and maintenance of contact and relationships with rape crisis centers, hospitals, clinics, religious institutions, other social service organizations and wellness/health care facilities, as well as schools
4) Activity programs designed for teens and young adults aimed at building self-esteem and strength of character as a preventative measure for possible future abuse
5) Physical and spiritual development activities and workshops designed for empowerment, including instruction in self-preservation and defense
6) All manner of art applications and art therapy
7) The demonstration of sustainability through the employment of existing natural resources, as a basic method for rebuilding the spirit along with the body
