We've all heard the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink" many times. We continue to use and share that statement because there is such truth in it. All the resources, support, tools and materials can be given and made available to someone, but if that person doesn't truly, sincerely want to fully utilize them and actively embrace them and make them their own, well, they will not experience the benefits of those gifts. Personal growth is work. It takes effort, determination and sincerity. To really achieve personal growth one must have some degree of stamina and inner strength, as well as faith. It usually does not come to us very easily, but when it arrives we immediately recognize the power and new energy within us. We begin to live our life in a different and improved way.
