"Enter the Kiva and touch your soul..."

~ Kiva (pronounced keeva), comes from a Native American custom that has been conducted by many tribes for centuries.  The Kiva has traditionally been a sacred room, dug down deep in Mother Earth, accessed by descending a long ladder through a single, narrow opening in the ground.

The Kiva has been the place where reverent preparation is conducted, tools and weapons built, prayers made and sacred council meetings held. Most tribes allowed only men to enter the Kiva; however, history records that the women of the tribe actually designed the Kivas.

The Kiva is a place to reconnect with “Great Spirit”, a place to prepare for life on the “good red road” and a place to "seek council from the elders” ~The Kiva Connection was launched to provide just such a place for sincere seekers of personal growth and healing.  If you have been led here, to the Kiva Connection, and feel drawn to come for a visit, please contact Wren to make arrangements....

"The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you."

The Kiva Connection is the combination of nature and art for a healthier you. Kiva is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization of individuals committed to providing simple retreat and wellness facilities to sincere seekers of personal growth and healing.  When a person elects to contact the Kiva Connection he or she is embarking on a personal discovery process; a way of thinking, living, and being.  They will have come to a place of readiness to accept complete responsibility for his/her life in every way.  The Kiva Connection offers participants an opportunity to share the process of discovery and growth with others, or the choice to have a solitary experience.

Kiva supports a consorted effort aimed at the realization of the uplifting of individuals, and the demonstration of the importance of balance and mutual respect for all living things - human, animal and floral - thereby strengthening each one of us, and our communities, too.  This is quite often best accomplished in settings found apart from any large city, away from noise pollution, overcrowding and high industry, all of which unavoidably encroachi upon the balance of nature.

The Kiva Connection provides a preparatory place where a person can “get back to the basics”, and prepare for re-emergence into the “real world” (most often thought of and referred to as the "material world"), carefully and at one's own pace. Further, while the Kiva Connection does not discriminate, Kiva does place emphasis on the specific needs and challenges facing women and youth in today's world, recognizing them as predominantly under-served in our communities. The Kiva Connection offers added support to women experiencing major transition(s), or crisis, in their lives.

Welcome to The Kiva Connection!  Enjoy your visit!
